The capital city

Bankok or Krungthepmahanakhon Amonrattanakosin Mahinthara Yutthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udom Ratchaniwet Mahasathan Amonphiman Awatansathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukamprasit is the capital city. This name is in Guinness book of records as the most extended city’s name. This town is quite crowded. Around eight million inhabitants live there. It has two airports – one bigger, Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), mostly for international flights and smaller, Don Muang (DMK), primarily for domestic flights.


What to see in Bangkok?

Grand palace – It used to be administration center and the home of kings. Today it is a touristic attraction with a lot of Budha statuses. One is even dressed variously depending on the part of the year.

Wat Pho – This is the temple where you’ll find a laying Buddha. It is the place where are rudiments of Thailand massage.

Wat Arun – Also called Temple of the down. There you can witness awesome sunsets.

Wat Saket -The other name for this temple is Golden month. It stands on an artificial mountain. There is a lovely view of the whole Bankok.

Floating market – This is something unique. You travel by boat

in the river and buying souvenirs in the small shops all around you.

Chinatown – A place where you can buy almost everything, and in the evening also enjoy in various food.

Kao San road – This street is like a haven to backpackers. You’ll find a lot of food, souvenirs and rich nightlife here.

Chao Phraya river – Take a ride and see Bankog from this point of view.

Chatuchak Weekend Market – A huge market, don’t forget to haggle.

Rooftop bar – If you want an impressive view go to a drink on one of many rooftop bars.

Massage – There are many different types of massages, choose one you like and enjoy.


Thai people

Thailand has around sixty-five million inhabitants. 95% are Buddhists and 4% Muslims. Most of Buddhist belong to  Theravada Buddhist.



The climate here is the tropical monsoon climate. There are two periods:

1.The rainy season from May to November. Temperatures go to a high 40 degrees. Raining is short and often.

2.Dry and cold season from the end of November to the start of May. Temperatures are from 15-30 degrees depending on the area of Thailand.



Currency on Thailand is Thailand Baht.



Thailand is a very safe country. People are generally kind and helpful.

Koh Lipe – You’ll find beautiful turquoise beaches there.

Koh Samui – This is the second biggest island in Thailand. If you are searching for five stars resorts, it is a place for you.

Koh Chang – This s good island for people who can’t go far away from Bankok.

Koh Phi Phi – This one is worth to see but prepares your self on a big crowd.

Pukhet – The biggest Thailand island. There is famous beach Patong but also many lovely beaches.
